In order to report your electric power outage online, we need to find your service address. Select an option below to get started. To report a natural gas service interruption or potential gas leak, call 800-227-1376.

  • To report your outage via text/SMS message, text the word "OUT" to 83212.

  • Please provide the phone number we have on file for the account experiencing the power outage. Note: The information you provide must match the account information we have on file for your account.

  • Please provide the following address information so we can locate your account. Note: The information you provide must match the account information we have on file for your account. Typically, this information can be located at the top of your most recent CenterPoint Energy statement.
